Liverpool duo Jose Enrique and Daniel Sturridge show racism the red card

Daniel Sturridge and Jose Enrique leant their support to the “Show Racism The Red Card” campaign ahead of Thursday’s Europa League last-16 clash at Manchester United.

The England striker has been in good form since his return from injury and the 26-year-old broke the deadlock from the penalty spot against Manchester United in the first leg last week.

Roberto Firmino doubled the home side’s lead to give Jurgen Klopp’s side a commanding aggregate lead ahead of their return trip to Old Trafford on Thursday night.

Enrique has only made two FA Cup appearances for Liverpool this season after a string of injury problems and a loss of form.

But the Spanish defender joined Sturridge to give racism the red card on Tuesday.

Liverpool’s Sturridge and United’s Juan Mata were together at Chelsea from 2011–13.
