Anthony Martial and Bastian Schweinsteiger looked in a relaxed mood despite the size of their task in Thursday night’s Europa League clash at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal’s will host their bitter rivals Liverpool in the second leg of their last-16 clash after last week’s disappointment at Anfield.

Daniel Sturridge broke the deadlock from the penalty spot before Roberto Firmino sealed a comfortable 2-0 win for the Merseyside outfit.

United striker Martial scored a late equaliser to rescue a 1-1 draw with West Ham United in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have won their last four games against Liverpool in their Premier League and their 2-0 loss at Anfield was Van Gaal’s first defeat by the Reds since he took over the reins in 2014.
