Sir Alex Ferguson looked to be enthralled in the game as he watched Manchester United salvage a 1-1 draw against West Ham in the FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Anthony Martial was on hand to score a late equaliser for Louis van Gaal’s men in front of United’s former boss as the Red Devils forced a replay at Upton Park.

United have come in for plenty of criticism in recent weeks for their inconsistent form under Van Gaal.

The Red Devils were largely unimpressive as they slumped to a 2-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield in the Europa League last week.

However, Ferguson looked like he was being entertained in the stands during Sunday’s FA Cup clash with the Hammer at Old Trafford.

United now turn their attentions to their crunch Europa League clash at Old Trafford on Thursday night when they host Liverpool and bid to overturn their 2-0 deficit.
