Santi Cazorla has taken to Twitter to reassure Arsenal supporters that he will make his return from injury as planned in April.

According to reports in the media on Tuesday evening, Cazorla was set to miss the rest of the Premier League season in a hammer blow to Arsenal’s title chances.

The Spain international hasn’t featured for the north London side since November when he picked up a knee injury during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Norwich.

However, the 31-year-old playmaker has dismissed inaccurate reports that he has suffered a fresh injury blow on his Twitter account, declaring that he will be fit for the start of April.

Arsenal host Swansea City in the Premier League on Wednesday night at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger’s side suffered a 3-2 loss to bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford in their last Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
