Slaven Bilic has warned his West Ham United players that Manchester United will be like a wounded animal in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final.

The Red Devils host the Hammers at Old Trafford after Thursday night’s emphatic 2-0 loss to bitter rivals Liverpool in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 clash.

Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino scored either side of half-time to seal a famous win for the Reds over their bitter rivals in their first meeting in Europe.

Louis van Gaal’s side have lost their last two games in all competitions ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford.

However, West Ham manager Bilic isn’t taking the threat posed by United lightly despite their disappointing form over the past week.

“Manchester United are a wounded animal and we know what to expect on Sunday. They still had good spells against Liverpool and at home they will better,” Bilic told his pre-match media conference on Friday.

“We want the game to start and we are doing everything to reach Wembley.”

West Ham came from 2-0 down to beat Everton 3-2 in their last Premier League outing at Goodison Park.
