Slaven Bilic assesses Tottenham's title chances ahead of their trip to West Ham United

Slaven Bilic is convinced that Tottenham have what it takes to win the Premier League title this season.

Spurs head into their trip to West Ham United in the top flight on Wednesday night knowing that a win would move them to the top of the Premier League table after Leicester were held to a 2-2 draw by West Brom on Tuesday.

Tottenham have been one of the Premier League’s most consistent team’s since the turn of the year and are among the favourites to win the top-flight crown this term.

And Bilic says that the Lilywhites have a good chance of winning the title as they prepare to welcome Mauricio Pochettino’s men to Upton Park on Wednesday night.

Bilic told a news conference on Tuesday: “Yes of course they can [win the league]. They are there and it is only 11 games to go so why not?

“They are playing good football, they look hungry, so yes. The only problem might be all the fixtures but Pochettino is experienced enough to know how to handle that.”

Tottenham came from a goal down to beat Swansea 2-1 at White Hart Lane last weekend. Spurs host Arsenal in a crunch north London derby on Saturday lunchtime.
