Matt Holland is confident Tottenham Hotspur will beat Arsenal in Saturday’s north London derby at White Hart Lane.

The Gunners are looking to end a three-game losing run ahead of their trip to Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the day’s early kick-off.

Tottenham look to have more energy and vigour than Arsenal

Arsene Wenger’s side are six points behind current pace-setters Leicester City after defeats by Manchester United and Swansea City over the past week.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are three points ahead of Arsenal despite losing 1-0 to West Ham United in their London derby at Upton Park on Wednesday night.

Former Charlton Athletic and Republic of Ireland midfielder Holland is tipping Spurs to secure a morale-boosting win against Arsenal.

“Spurs have to be favourites here, especially when it’s at White Hart Lane,” Holland told Marathon Bet.

“They’ve been the most consistent side in the league over recent games and are looking great lately. One issue for Spurs could be workload.

“They’ve got a real shot at winning the Europa League this year and Pochettino seems to be taking it seriously.

“Even with that, Tottenham look to have more energy and vigour than Arsenal. I’m going for a home win.”

Arsenal have lost to Barcelona, United and Swansea in their last three games in all competitions.

Enhanced odds: Get 8/1 on Tottenham and 9/1 on Arsenal to win north London derby

The Gunners played out a 1-1 draw with Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham side in their meeting in the Premier League earlier this season.
