Michael Owen is backing Tottenham to continue their Premier League title charge by winning their clash with Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs head into the game second in the Premier League table and just five points behind leaders Leicester City.

The Lilywhites have earned plenty of new admirers for their impressive form this season and are rated as one of the favourites to win the title this term.

Tottenham were 2-0 winners at Aston Villa in their most recent Premier League outing.

And former Liverpool striker Owen is expecting to see Mauricio Pochettino’s men claim victory at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “Spurs are in Europa League action in midweek but lost 3-0 to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg in Germany.

“The Cherries claimed a third league wins on the spin at the weekend, beating Swansea 3-2 at Dean Court, and are respected but are likely to be out-classed in north London.”
