The 18-year-old has earned plenty of new admirers since breaking into the Manchester United first-team under Louis van Gaal last season.
Rashford continued his impressive rise to prominence by scoring on his England debut during the Three Lions’ 2-1 win over Australia on Friday night.
It remains to be seen whether Roy Hodgson will take Rashford with his England squad to France for this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.
However, former United defender Neville is backing Rashford to continue to develop into a top player at Old Trafford.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Neville said: Marcus Rashford is going to be a sensational footballer,” former United and England star Neville told Euro 2016 sponsor Carlsberg.
“He’s burst on the scene he looks like he’s been playing there for years. He doesn’t look nervous, he looks fearless and the goals he’s scored are fantastic.
“Rightly so he’s earned himself a place in Roy Hodgson’s 26, whether he goes is another story because the biggest strength in our squad are out front players.”
Jose Mourinho was appointed as Manchester United’s new manager on Friday morning after days of speculation surrounding his future.
It now remains to be seen what plans the Portuguese coach has for the likes of Rashford at Old Trafford next season.
