The Senegal international opened his Liverpool account at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon as Mane scored the Reds’s fourth goal in a 4-3 victory over title rivals Arsenal.
Mane moved to Liverpool in a £34m deal from Southampton earlier in the summer after an impressive two-year spell at St Mary’s.
Former Reds captain Redknapp is impressed with Mane’s impact on Klopp’s side after an eye-catching pre-season campaign and debut performance against Arsenal.
“Sadio Mane – how good was he?” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“The pace that he showed. He gives them a completely different dimension. For Liverpool, everyone wants the ball to feet. He goes the other way. I haven’t seen too many players score the goal that he has.”
Mane scored 21 times in 67 appearances in the Premier League during two seasons at Southampton following his move from Swiss side Red Bull Salzburg in 2014.
The Reds are in second place in the Premier League table after their 4-3 win against Arsene Wenger’s side thanks to goals from Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Mane.
Liverpool will make the trip to Sean Dyche’s Burnley side at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The 18-time English champions finished in eighth place in the Premier League last season.
