Juventus have made an approach for Chelsea midfielder Juan Cuadrado, according to reports in Italy.

Gianlucadimarzio.com are claiming that the Serie A champions are interested in bringing the Colombia international back to Turin in the summer transfer window.

The South American scored five times in 40 appearances in all competitions for the Italian champions during a season-long loan at the Serie A giants last term.

Cuadrado has struggled to make an impact at the west London side after former Blues manager Jose Mourinho signed the Colombian in a £21m deal from Fiorentina during their title-winning campaign in 2014/15.

However, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder has failed to find the net in 15 appearances in all competitions for the west London side.

Antonio Conte took over the reins of Chelsea this summer following his confirmation as Guus Hiddink’s permanent successor earlier this year.

The former Juventus manager signed Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi in a £33m deal from Ligue 1 side Marseille in July before he completed a £32m deal for Leicester City’s title-winning midfielder N’Golo Kante.
