Paul Pogba says he feels like he has returned home following his world-record transfer to Manchester United.

The France midfielder completed a much-anticipated move back to Old Trafford last week as Jose Mourinho finally sealed his fourth signing of the summer transfer window.

Pogba was sold to Serie A champions Juventus in an £800,000 deal from United in 2012 after the 23-year-old failed to secure a regular starting spot in Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

The midfielder went on to become one of the world’s most-exciting prospects after winning four successive Serie A titles with Juventus as well as finishing as a Champions League runner-up.

Speaking to MUTV in the video below ahead of his second United ahead of Friday night’s clash against Southampton, Pogba described the emotions surrounding his return to the 20-time English champions this month.

“I came back because I wanted to,” Pogba said.

“Manchester United showed me that they wanted me back. We can do a lot of things and we have a good team that wants to win the league again. It has been four years.

“It was the right time to come back.”

Pogba added: “I grew up here. For me, it is like my house here. I used to come back here and I felt normal. I felt like I came back home.”

Pogba scored eight goals and made 12 assists in 35 Serie A appearances for Juventus last season as he won his fourth successive top-flight crown in Italy.
