The Blues midfielder was an unused substitute in the west London side’s 2-1 victory over West Ham United in their Premier League opener at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
Fabregas left Arsenal to return to his boyhood club Barcelona in a £35m deal in 2011 after the Gunners captain failed to win the Premier League title with the north London outfit.
However, the 29-year-old was crowned a Premier League champion in 2015 after Fabregas played an instrumental role in Chelsea’s title success under Jose Mourino less than 12 months after his £27m move to Stamford Bridge from Camp Nou.
But Fabregas appears to have remained closed friends with Czech Republic midfielder Rosicky despite switching allegiances in London after the 35-year-old free agent hung out with the Arsenal legend on Thursday afternoon.
Fabregas posted the above photo on his Snapchat account (@cescky4) and wrote the following caption: “I love this guy”
Chelsea will face Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon while Arsenal make the trip to Premier League champions Leicester City.
