The Brazil international was sidelined for the north London side’s 4-3 defeat by Liverpool in their Premier League opener at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Gabriel is currently nursing an ankle injury which the centre-half suffered in their 3-2 defeat by Manchester City in their final warm-up game ahead of the new season.
His injury setback has provided Arsene Wenger with a headache following Per Mertesacker’s long-term injury and Laurent Koscielny’s fitness issues.
However, the South American was in high spirits on Tuesday as he dedicated a long message to his partner on his Instagram page.
Arsenal were forced to field an inexperienced centre-half pairing of Calum Chambers and Rob Holding against Liverpool following Gabriel’s injury setback.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2004 when Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira inspired the Gunners to an unbeaten season.
The north London side will travel to reigning Premier League champions Leicester City in their next fixture at King Power Stadium on Saturday night.
