The Red Devils completed a £92m world-record deal to bring the France international back to Old Trafford earlier this month after a summer of relentless speculation.
Pogba made his second United debut on Friday night as the 23-year-old helped Jose Mourinho’s side ease to a 2-0 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford.
The former Juventus man played a key part in France’s run to the European championship final this summer as the Euro 2016 hosts lost 1-0 to Portugal in extra time in the final.
Former Arsenal striker Henry can see similarities between Pogba and his old team-mate Vieira as the ex-France striker analysed the midfielder’s return to Old Trafford.
“He reminds me of Patrick Vieira,” Henry told Sky Sports after Friday night’s 2-0 win.
“He used to put his hands in someone face and push them away. He was everywhere on the field. He looked like the best kid at school. I love the fact that he started to control the tempo of the game. He did everything.”
Pogba moved to Juventus from United in an £800,000 deal in 2012 after the France midfielder failed to secure a regular spot in Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
The 23-year-old won four successive Serie A titles during a four-year stay in Turin before his big-money return to Old Trafford this summer.
