The Blues were 2-1 winners against London rivals West Ham United on Monday night after Diego Costa netted an 89th-minute winner for the hosts.
Conte was named as Guus Hiddink’s successor earlier this year before the former Juventus manager took over the reins following Italy’s Euro 2016 campaign.
The 47-year-old signed Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi in a £33m deal from Ligue 1 side Marseille before Chelsea snapped up Leicester City’s title-winning midfielder N’Golo Kante in a £32m transfer.
Former Liverpool and Newcastle United striker Owen is confident that Conte’s side will make it successive wins on Saturday when the Blues make the short trip to Watford.
“Chelsea’s win against West Ham on Monday means new boss Antonio Conte has lost just one of his last 31 games as a club manager and I thought there were encouraging signs for the Blues,” Owen told Bet Victor.
“Fascinating that Eden Hazard has now scored five in his last six PL games having failed to hit the back of the net in 29 PL games before that! Chelsea to maintain their winning start to the season.”
The Hornets, who appointed Walter Mazzarri as their new manager earlier this summer, drew 1-1 with Southampton in their opening Premier League game at St Mary’s last weekend.
Chelsea are in third place in the Premier League table behind Manchester United and Liverpool.
