Andy Cole has admitted that Liverpool look like genuine Premier League title contenders this season under Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have been in fine form so far this term and have earned plenty of praise for their performances in the top flight.

Liverpool have already recorded victories over the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City this season to leave them three points ahead of Manchester United heading into Monday’s game.

And former Manchester United star Cole says that Liverpool have already proved themselves to be contenders for the Premier League title this season.

Cole is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “I really do enjoy watching them going forward.

“Are they a title threat? Yes, because Klopp has got them playing with so much energy.

“They play good football and he has got them working very hard for each other.

“They are one of five teams who can win it, definitely.”

Manchester United head into Monday’s game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with Stoke City before the international break.
