Nathan Ake looked to be thrilled to be back training with Chelsea this week after completing his transfer back to the west London club.

The Dutch defender has been recalled from his loan spell at Bournemouth after his impressive form for Eddie Howe’s men.

The defender’s performances for the Cherries clearly did not go unnoticed by new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte as he opted to bring him back to Stamford Bridge early.

And Ake seems to have slotted straight into proceedings at Cobham with ease, if the photo above is anything to go by.

It remains to be seen whether Ake could be involved with Chelsea when the Blues take on defending Premier League champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.
