Piers Morgan was not at all impressed by Arsenal’s performance after the Gunners slumped to a 2-1 loss to Watford at The Emirates on Tuesday night.

The north London side found themselves 2-0 down within 13 minutes at The Emirates after Younes Kaboul and Troy Deeney both scored inside a three-minute spell.

Arsenal failed to click into gear at a rain-soaked Emirates in the first half as they struggled to make an impact on the game.

Alex Iwobi pulled a goal back for Arsene Wenger’s men in the 58th minute to spark hopes of an Arsenal comeback.

However, there was to be no second goal as the north London side slumped to a disappointing loss in the build-up to their crunch clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.

Morgan, who was particularly unimpressed by Aaron Ramsey’s performance, tweeted as the game unfolded:

Arsenal will now need to dust themselves down as they prepare for their crunch Premier League clash against Chelsea on Saturday.
