Rooney has enjoyed a special weekend of his own after the 30-year-old equalled Sir Bobby Charlton’s Manchester United record with his 249th Red Devils goal in a 4-0 victory over Reading on Saturday afternoon.
Showing his leadership skills on social media, Rooney sent a message to Kane following his England colleague becoming a father for the first time.
Congrats to you both. Your next dele 😂😂 https://t.co/H68pZP4IgQ
