Antonio Conte could not hide his disappointment at the goal Chelsea conceded late on during their 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.

The Blues were in fine form against the Gunners as they claimed a win which moved them a step closer towards winning the Premier League title.

Goals from Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas put Chelsea 3-0 up before Olivier Giroud came off the bench to net a late consolation for Arsene Wenger’s men.

The win kept Chelsea flying high at the top of the Premier League table as they underlined their status as the favourites for the title.

However, Conte was particularly disappointed to see his side concede a late goal against the north London side.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Conte said: “I’m pleased for our win but disappointed by the goal we conceded.

“It’s a pity. It’s so important to improve and keep the concentration in the right way from the start until the end.

“We conceded some chances to Arsenal – but we also created our own chances.”
