Eden Hazard has revealed how playing for Antonio Conte at Chelsea has taught him that football is about more than just dribbling and scoring goals.

Conte was brought in as the Blues’ new manager in the summer after being appointed as Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor in the summer.

The Italian has had an instant impact at Stamford Bridge and has earned plenty of praise for helping to transform Chelsea into title challengers, with the Blues currently nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

And Hazard has lifted the lid on how Conte has helped to explain his philosophy to him this season.

Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “We know that to create movement I have to not even get the ball, but to create movement and space for others.

“I think now I understand that football is not only with the ball at my feet. It’s good to get the ball at my feet but sometimes I need to go deep, to go at the goal.”

The Belgian will be expecting to feature for Chelsea when the Blues take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.
