Florentin Pogba has revealed that Arsenal are the club of his “heart” and that he is a boyhood Gunners fan.

The 26-year-old currently plies his trade for Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne and came up against his brother Paul when Manchester United took on the French side in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Florentin’s brother Paul arrived at Old Trafford last August in a world-record transfer deal from Juventus.

And the defender has revealed that Arsenal will always have a special place in his heart.

Speaking in an interview with The Guardian, Pogba said: “Arsenal are the club of my heart.

“I’ve supported them ever since the Invincibles – what a team!

“The downside of being a professional is you rarely get a chance to go to watch other teams so I’ve never actually been to the Emirates. But one day I will, hopefully.”

Pogba’s words will offer some solace to Arsenal fans, who are still coming to terms with their 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Arsenal take on Sutton United in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday night as they look to get back to winning ways.
