Spurs head into the game looking to return to winning ways on the domestic front after the disappointment of their 2-0 loss at the hands of Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield last weekend.
The Lilywhites were thoroughly outplayed by the Reds on Merseyside as they suffered a severe blow to their title hopes.
However, former Liverpool striker Owen is fully expecting to see the Lilywhites secure their spot in the sixth round of the FA Cup with victory over their London rivals at Craven Cottage this weekend.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “This looks a cracking London derby with Spurs looking to exorcise those Anfield demons after a horror show against the Reds last weekend.
“Fulham beat Spurs 4-0 the last time the sides met in the Cup back in 2011 but I expect the Premier League side to progress but not without a few scares along the way.
“Spurs were in Europa League action in Belgium on Thursday evening and will be pleased they don’t have far to travel for Sunday’s tie.
“I like this Fulham side and it would be no surprise to me if they made the play-offs despite the fact that they are currently six points adrift of the side (Sheffield Wednesday) in sixth place in the table.”
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four this season after they ended up third last term.
The Lilywhites were parachuted down in the Europa League after their group-stage exit from the Champions League.
