The Blues have firmly established themselves as the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season and took another step towards winning the trophy by beating Arsenal 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea are now nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table and 12 points ahead of Arsenal heading into February.
And former Liverpool defender Carragher admits that he finds it difficult to see Chelsea slipping up in the race for the title.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Carragher said: “I don’t see it [Chelsea slipping up].
“Now you’ve got European football coming back as well for a lot of the sides challenging up there for the top four positions. Chelsea haven’t got that.
“Injuries could affect any team but they’ve got strength in depth as well on that bench.
“It’s going to be very difficult for anyone to even get close to them.”
Chelsea are now gearing up for their Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor next weekend.
The Blues’s sharp upturn in form this term has been in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when they ended up 10th and without a trophy.
