The Gunners midfielder suffered a minor knee problem during Arsenal’s surprise 2-1 loss to Watford at The Emirates on Tuesday night.
However, Wenger is expecting the midfielder to be available for Saturday’s showdown with the Blues in west London.
Asked if Oxlade-Chamberlain is a doubt for Saturday’s game, Wenger told his post-match news conference at The Emirates: “No, I don’t think so. I think he should be alright.
“He got a kick on his knee, yes.”
Wenger also confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to be sidelined after suffering a calf injury in the first half of Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Watford.
He added: “It’s a calf strain. I don’t know how long he will be out for, but it’s a calf strain.”
Third-placed Arsenal head into the game needing a victory to narrow the gap down to the Premier League leaders down to six points.
The north London side are currently third and nine points behind the leaders ahead of the crunch clash.
