Martin Keown is expecting Liverpool and Tottenham to play out a 1-1 draw at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday night.

The Reds head into the game looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after a disastrous start to the new year under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool have not won a Premier League game since their victory over Manchester City back on 31 December and slumped to a 2-0 loss to Hull last weekend.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have been in decent form in recent weeks, and are currently Chelsea’s closest challengers.

Spurs are second in the table and nine points behind the leaders as they look to get themselves back into the race for the title.

However, former Arsenal star Keown is tipping Liverpool and Spurs to play out a low-scoring draw at Anfield on Saturday night.

Writing in his column for The Daily Mail, Keown said: “I can see this being a 1-1 draw. Both teams’ seasons hinge on this game.

“There is too much to lose for them — but in terms of the title race a draw only helps Chelsea.”
