The Ivorian defender has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United first team since his arrival at the club from Villarreal in the summer transfer window.
Bailly was on international duty with his country at the African Cup of Nations but returned to Manchester United duty last weekend as he helped the Red Devils secure a 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League.
The defender played the full 90 minutes as Jose Mourinho’s men returned to winning ways in the Premier League.
And De Gea was clearly pleased to welcome Bailly back to the fold at Carrington on Tuesday afternoon.
The Manchester United goalkeeper shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Eric has returned better: he speaks better English, better Spanish… I’m glad to have you back!”
Bailly has made 13 Premier League appearances for Manchester United so far this season to help the Red Devils up to sixth in the table.
