The north London side was utterly destroyed by the German side in the second half at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night as the Bundesliga team all but secured their place in the quarter-finals of Europe’s elite club competition.
It marks a miserable run of form for the Gunners since the turn of the year, with Arsenal now eight points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
And former Arsenal defender Keown, who played under Wenger during his spell at the north London club, feels that the Frenchman is closer than ever to leaving The Emirates.
Speaking to BT Sport after the final whistle on Wednesday night, Keown said: “I feel for Arsene Wenger now.
“It’s almost embarrassing. They were outclassed, outplayed and they did it at a canter.
“It’s been 20 years and you really seriously think that Arsene Wenger must be considering his future now.
“He’s an intelligent man, and this is his lowest point ever at Arsenal.”
Arsenal will be hoping to return to winning ways when the Gunners take on Sutton United in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday.
