The German’s future has been a source of uncertainty in recent months after both he and Alexis Sanchez entered into the final two years of their contracts at The Emirates.
Ozil’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2018 and there is yet to be any official announcement from Arsenal or the player about his situation.
However, Ozil’s representative has insisted that the World Cup winner remains completely focused on performing for Arsenal in the wake of Wednesday’s 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Dr Erkut Sogut said: “I don’t think the criticism has affected his performance or his mental state.
“Mesut is committed to the club. There is no doubt that he will perform at 100 per cent, with total professionalism and commitment as long as he plays for Arsenal. Nothing will change that.
“He is sorry to the fans, and he’s sorry that he and his team-mates couldn’t give the fans a better result in Munich.”
Ozil could be set to feature when Arsenal take on Sutton United in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday night.
The Gunners are currently fourth in the Premier League and 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.
