Alexis Sanchez was clearly in a philosophical mood ahead of Arsenal’s crunch clash with Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

The Gunners head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 2-1 loss to Watford in the top flight on Tuesday night.

Arsenal know that victory over Chelsea would reduce the gap to leaders Chelsea down to six points as they look to keep themselves in the race for the title.

And Sanchez was clearly feeling in a reflective mood on Friday evening, as he posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Do not give up just because things got tough. Remember: IF IT’S WORTH IT, IT WILL NOT BE EASY.”

Chelsea are the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season and are currently nine points clear at the top of the table.

The Blues can move 12 points clear at the top of the table with victory over the Gunners on Saturday lunchtime.

Arsenal were 3-0 winners over Chelsea when the two teams last met back in September at The Emirates.
