Michael Ballack singled out N’Golo Kante for special praise after Chelsea’s impressive 3-1 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.

The Blues continued their march towards the Premier League title with a thumping win over the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.

Marcos Alonso put the home side ahead in the 13th minute, before Eden Hazard added a second with a superb solo goal shortly after half-time.

Cesc Fabregas then added a third after coming off the bench, before Olivier Giroud netted a late consolation goal for the north London side.

Kante was again in impressive form for the Blues as he helped control Chelsea’s midfield against the Gunners.

And Ballack took to social media after the game to deliver his verdict on how the game unfolded in west London.

Ballack posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account after the game and wrote the caption: “LONDON is #BLUE 🔵! Definitely bumped into too many #gunners recently 😂 @thierryhenry … #CFCvAFC 🔵v🔴 … !

“#CFC top of the table with 12 clear POINTS now 👊!!

“Good to see chelsea flying! 👊 Great week. ⚽

“I enjoyed #Alonso once AGAIN, #Hazard with a top goal, and #Cesc who hardly gets in that he scores right away!

“#Kante was still that annoying fly that’s always there 👌! Well done to the whole team!”
