The Blues are bidding to reach the sixth round of the cup competition as they try and win a domestic double during Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the club.
The 22-year-old Chalobah has found his first team opportunities somewhat limited this season and has only made eight substitute appearances from the bench for the Blues so far this term.
However, he has featured in both of Chelsea’s FA Cup ties to date and will be hoping to play once again when the west London side travel to Wolves on Saturday night.
And the young midfielder was clearly feeling reflective on Thursday morning, as he posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account.
He wrote the caption: “A positive attitude gives you power over your circumstances.
“Positive thinking isn’t expecting the best to happen every time but, accepting that whatever happens is the best for this moment. 🙌🏻 #quoteoftheday”
Chelsea are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
