The Arsenal defender had to be substituted after a heavy collision with Alonso in the build-up to Chelsea’s opening goal at Stamford Bridge.
Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas then both scored in the second half before Olivier Giroud’s consolation goal as Chelsea took another step towards winning the title this season.
Alonso was quick to take to social media on Sunday to celebrate Saturday’s win but also send a message of support to Bellerin after his nasty-looking injury.
Alonso shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Another great day at the Bridge yesterday. Also hope to see my homie @hectorbellerin back on the pitch soon. Unlucky challenge.”
Chelsea are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they bid to win the title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the club.
