The 20 richest football clubs in the world generated €6.6bn (£5bn) of revenue last season, an increase of eight per cent on the previous year.
That’s according to the 19th edition of the Football Money League from Deloitte, the business advisory firm.
There are nine Premier League clubs in the top 20, with revenues totalling €3bn, and more than half of the top 30 revenue-generating clubs are from the Premier League.
