The Gunners once again came up short in Europe as they were thrashed 5-1 by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena despite going in at half-time with the score at 1-1.
That damaging defeat all but ended Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Champions League this season.
The Gunners are also facing an uphill battle in the race for the Premier League title, with Arsenal currently fourth in the table and 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.
However, former Liverpool striker Owen is expecting to see the Gunners book their place in the sixth round on Monday night.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Once again, and as expected, Arsenal came up well short against the very best in Munich earlier in the week.
“They are likely, however, to have far too much for National League Sutton United who warmed up for the tie by losing at relegation-threatened Guiseley midweek.”
Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season and the Gunners finished second last term.
