The Gunners forward was on target in both halves as Arsene Wenger’s men finally returned to winning ways in the Premier League after back to back losses to Chelsea and Watford.
Sanchez has been Arsenal’s standout performer this season and has already scored 17 goals and made eight assists in the Premier League for the Gunners.
And Henry singled out the Chilean for special praise in the wake of Arsenal’s win at The Emirates.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Henry said: “Of course he was the difference today and it’s not the first time.
“The only time I saw him not being himself this year was at Chelsea last week.
“Sanchez is always the guy that you look up to if you need something to happen.
“His attitude and the way he put pressure on them [made the difference]”
Sanchez and his Arsenal team-mates will now turn their attentions towards their crunch Champions League last 16 clash against Bayern Munich next week.
The north London side have failed to reach the quarter-finals of Europe’s elite club competition for the last six seasons running.
