Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea players that the title will not be secure until they take 21 points from their remaining 10 Premier League games.

The Blues continued their march towards winning the top-flight crown on Saturday as they left it late to secure a dramatic 2-1 win over Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

That victory left Conte’s men 10 points clear of second placed Tottenham with 10 games left to play as the Italian eyes his the title in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are the heavy favourites to win the title after being the Premier League’s standout team this season.

And Chelsea boss Conte says that the Blues will need to take 21 points from their remaining 10 games to secure the top-flight crown.

Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday evening, Conte said: “We have to take 21 points to take the title, otherwise we risk to lose. We have to think positively and take it game by game.

“Now there is an international break and a bit of rest for some of the players, and then we come back to Cobham and it’s important to be focused because we have two games at home against Crystal Palace and Manchester City.”
