N’Golo Kante has dismissed suggestions that he could be considered as the best player in the Premier League.

The French midfielder has earned plenty of praise for his fine form for the Blues this season following his switch to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City last summer.

Kante earned plenty of new admirers last season as he helped Leicester win the Premier League title last term before opting to move to Chelsea.

The midfielder has continued his fine form this season and has helped Chelsea build a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Kante is one of the players to have been touted as a favourite to win the PFA player of the year award this season.

However, although he admits that he is in good form, he says that he doesn’t feel like he is the best player in the Premier League at the moment.

Speaking to Telefoot, Kante said: “My current form? I am flourishing, but I don’t feel like the best player in the Premier League.
