Daley Blind has taken to social media to thank Manchester United’s fans for their support after his latest injury setback.

Blind was forced off injured during Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Rostov in the Europa League on Thursday night as Jose Mourinho’s men reached the quarter-finals of the competition.

The Dutchman is unlikely to be fit for the Red Devils’ Premier League clash against Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon, although both he and Paul Pogba reported to Carrington on Saturday morning for training.

Blind posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Thanks everyone for all the messages and support! 👏🏻👊🏻”

Manchester United head into Sunday’s Premier League clash looking to get their top-four bid on track as they aim to finish in the Champions League qualification spots.

The Red Devils were pitted against Anderlecht in the last eight of the Europa League in Friday’s draw and Mourinho knows that winning that competition this season could be one of their best hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
