David Luiz has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea beat Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues took the lead in the first half thanks to Willian’s opener but his goal was cancelled out by Jon Walters’ penalty before half-time.

However, it was Gary Cahill who had the final say for Chelsea when he smashed home a loose ball in the 87th minute to secure the three points and send the travelling fans wild.

The win left Chelsea flying high at the top of the Premier League table as they further cemented their status as the favourites to win the title.

And Luiz, who helped the Blues claim victory on Saturday, could not hide his delight at the result as he took to social media after the game.

Luis posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Come on Chelsea! 💙 Great spirit lads! 👊🏻”
