Marcos Alonso has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea secure all three points against Stoke in Saturday’s dramatic 2-1 Premier League win.

The Blues looked to be heading towards a draw at the Bet365 Stadium after Jon Walters cancelled out Willian’s opener in the first half.

However, Gary Cahill had the final say in the 87th minute when he drilled home a loose ball to secure all three points for Antonio Conte’s men and take the Blues a step closer towards winning the Premier League title.

The win left Chelsea as the heavy favourites to win the title this season.

And summer signing Alonso was clearly thrilled to play his part in helping the west London side claim all three points.

Alonso posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption after the game: “Always believe…until the end! Come on @chelseafc ! 💪🏼👊🏼🔵 #STKCHE #PremierLeague”
