The Liverpool youngster was joined in the training session by the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana as Jurgen Klopp’s men continued their preparations for the crunch clash.

Liverpool head into the game after having had a free week to prepare following their 2-1 win over Burnley at Anfield last weekend.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are bidding to get back to winning ways after the disappointment of their Champions League elimination at the hands of Monaco last week.

Here are some of the best pictures from Liverpool’s latest training session.
