Piers Morgan has urged Arsene Wenger to sell Aaron Ramsey after the midfielder’s performance in Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to West Brom on Saturday.

The Wales international was criticised for his defending from both corners which led to Craig Dawson’s goals at The Hawthorns as Wenger’s men slumped to a humiliating defeat by the Baggies.

Morgan has been one of Ramsey’s harshest critics in recent seasons and did not hold back as he vented his anger on Twitter after the game.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan tweeted: “Ramsey sums up this team – spineless, heartless, mediocre.

“I’d sell him so fast he wouldn’t even have time to snub my handshake again. #afc”

Arsenal’s defeat was their fourth in five Premier League games to leave their hopes of securing a top-four finish this season in doubt.

The north London side are through to the FA Cup semi-finals, where they will take on Manchester City at Wembley next month.
