Piers Morgan has taken to social media to suggest that Arsenal should look to try and sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton this summer – and appoint Ronald Koeman as manager.

The pressure continued to heighten on Gunners boss Arsene Wenger on Saturday after his side were beaten 3-1 by West Brom at the Hawthorns.

That result was Arsenal’s fourth defeat in five Premier League games and left the north London side facing an uphill struggle in the race for a top-four finish this season.

Everton striker Lukaku’s future has been a source of speculation in recent days as he continues to stall on signing a new contract with the Toffees.

And celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan feels that Lukaku would be a good addition to the Arsenal side – along with manager Koeman.

Morgan tweeted after Saturday’s dismal defeat: “Maybe Koeman should replace Wenger & bring Lukaku with him.”
