Dion Dublin has claimed that Antonio Conte’s passion is the key reason why Chelsea are set to be crowned Premier League champions this season.

The Blues secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they took another step towards winning the Premier League title.

Willian opened the scoring in the first half, but the Blues were pegged back before half-time when Jon Walters converted his penalty.

However, it was Gary Cahill who had the final say, when he blasted home a loose ball from close range to wrap up the three points for Conte’s men in the 87th minute.

The Italian coach ran onto the pitch to celebrate with his players after the victory, which left them 13 points clear at the top of the table.

And former Manchester United forward Dublin is fully expecting to see Chelsea be crowned champions this season.

Speaking to BBC Sport’s Final Score, Dublin said: “The passion from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is outstanding.

“It transmits down to the players. That’s what makes you champions.”
