Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea side that they are set for a stern test of their Premier League title credentials when they take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues head into the game looking to take a step closer towards winning the title this season after being the Premier League’s top team so far this term.

Conte’s side have built a 10-point lead at the top of the table and are currently the heavy favourites to win the title this season thanks to their sparkling form under their new manager.

The west London side head into the game fresh from their 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Monday night.

However, Conte has warned his side against complacency as they prepare for their crunch clash against Stoke on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking at his pre-match news conference, Conte said: “It won’t be easy. They’re a really strong, physical team with great players. For this reason, we must pay great attention and focus.

“In the game at Stamford Bridge, Stoke City played very well. We won 4-2, but the game was played very well by both teams.

“They have a really good team, a good coach, and for sure they want to prepare in the right way for this game. We will have a tough test.”
