The Gunners midfielder has been in good form over the past couple of weeks after a disappointing 2016-17 season overall for the club’s record signing.
Ozil scored in Arsenal’s 2-1 win at Middlesbrough on Monday night which means the German has now netted two goals and has made two assists in their last four games.
Indeed, the 28-year-old’s figures are down on the 2015-16 campaign after a disappointing return of seven goals and six assists in 26 appearances in the Premier League.
Ozil has held talks with Arsenal about a potential contract extension with less than 15 months on his current deal.
And the former Real Madrid midfielder posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Manchester City at Wembley.

Arsenal won the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015 at Wembley but the Gunners haven’t lifted the Premier League crown since 2003-04.
