The Gunners kept their fading top-four hopes alive with a 2-1 win at Middlesbrough on Monday night to leave Arsene Wenger’s men in sixth place in the Premier League table.
Arsenal have been in stuttering form in recent weeks and have won only four of their last 10 Premier League games to leave their Champions League qualification hopes in serious doubt.
And former Arsenal star Parlour believes that the Gunners are set for an uphill struggle in their race to secure Champions League football for next season.
Speaking on the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast, Parlour said: “Arsenal are massive outsiders [to finish in the top four].
“They’ve still got some really tricky games. It’s going to be difficult for Arsenal.”
Arsenal, who finished second in the table last season, are putting their Premier League affairs to one side this weekend as they turn their attentions towards their FA Cup semi-final clash against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon at Wembley.
