The 19-year-old has been in fine form for Jose Mourinho’s men this season and has been a regular fixture in the Red Devils’ first team.
Rashford broke onto the scene in the second half of last season under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford and was rewarded for his fine performances with a call-up to the England squad for Euro 2016.
The teenager was one of Manchester United’s top players as the Red Devils secured an impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford in the Premier League last weekend.
And Arsenal legend Wright has revealed just why he is such a big fan of the Manchester United youngster.
Speaking on BBC Sport’s 606 podcast, Wright said: “I champion Marcus Rashford all the time because he gives them an edge and the pace.”
And Wright also believes that there is space for both Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front for Manchester United.
“I’d love to see them both,” he added. “You’ve got the pace and the creative ability and the hold-up skills of Ibrahimovic.”
Rashford will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action with a trip to Burnley on Sunday afternoon as they look to keep their top-four hopes alive.
